T.A. Makes The Call
The rumors are true.
“I committed to NC State,” said running back T.A. McClendon, a 6-foot, 219-pound star from Albemarle, N.C. “I love that place.”

McClendon committed to NC State this weekend on an official visit. He chose the Wolfpack over offers from Auburn and Alabama among others.
“The players, the coaches – NC State is a great place,” he said. “They stuck by me from the start, even when no one thought I would qualify.”
McClendon continues to add to his national touchdown record with 171 career scores.
“We play in the state finals this weekend,” he said. “I’m glad I decided and announce before it. Now I can show the NC State fans what they’re getting.”
