Syracuse is evaluating Campenni

Syracuse seems to have a lot of interest in Exeter (Pa.) Wyoming Area junior defensive tackle Julian Campenni and the interest appears to be mutual.
Thus far Kent State is the only school that has offered Campenni, and beyond that nothing major has changed on the recruiting front in the past couple of weeks. That said, there appears to be a relationship developing between Campenni and the Orange.
"I'm planning to go to Syracuse's spring game on (April) 17th," he noted.
"I've spoken to my recruiting coach from Syracuse, coach (Bob) Casullo. I really liked their junior day. I loved their staff. I liked coach (Jimmy) Brumbaugh, the defensive line coach. I could definitely see that as being a place to play, even though they haven't offered yet.
"I'm going to a three-day camp in June up there."
Campenni said he has also been speaking to coaches from Cincinnati, Bowling Green, NC State, Boston College and Central Florida.
On June 14th he will be going to Cincinnati for a one-day camp.
"I think I'll shoot over to Bowling Green for their one-day camp, too," he said. "I'll try to get down to NC State's (camp) and I'm going up to BC for their spring practice and one of their one-day camps."
