Syracuse adds Florida CB

When you're in the same defensive backfield as Rivals100 star Major Wright, it can be good and bad. The bad is that you get overlooked on a national and local scale. The good is that your film gets more looks from more schools. Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas cornerback Kevyn Scott has made a name for himself despite the attention paid to his teammate.
"Kevin committed to Syracuse," said St. Thomas Aquinas assistant coach Rocco Casullo of the 6-foot-0, 185-pound cornerback. "He visited there last weekend and just fell in love with it."

Scott has excellent size for a corner and runs a 4.5-second 40-yard dash. He chose Syracuse over offers from Bowling Green and Akron.
"He didn't say much about the visit, he just came back and was all smiles," said Casullo. "He was recruited by Jim Salgado for Syracuse who will be his position coach. Jim is a great guy and Kevin will be a good fit for them."
Scott played with Wright this past season and had a great year.
"He was excellent, he's a good player," said Casullo. "This kid can play and I'm glad he got the looks he got. He deserves it."
