Sylverain unable to visit his leader

Naples (Fla.) Golden Gate linebacker Stanley Sylverain had hoped to make it to Orlando, Fla. on Saturday night to see Central Florida host Boston College. Disappointingly, the trip fell through.
"I wasn't able to make it," Sylverain said. "My coach was supposed to take me but we couldn't make it."

While Sylverain, whose only offer at this time is from UCF, wasn't able to make it to see the Knights in action, he says they remain his top option.
"UCF is definitely my leader," Sylverain said.
He is making plans to visit for the Marshall game in early October. When asked if he may leave that visit a commitment to George O'Leary and his staff, the Sunshine State prospect said that is certainly a possibility.
"I think there definitely is a chance I would commit during that visit," Sylverain said.
In addition to UCF, Sylverain has also been shown a lot of interest by Maryland. He shared the latest with regards to the Terps.
"Maryland has been recruiting me heavily also," Sylverain said. "They are looking for someone who can play defensive end and linebacker, and I can play both those positions. So I guess they really like me. If I continue to play well during the whole season, then they may offer me also. I haven't really contacted their coaches yet, because their coaches have been contacting my coach and they are keeping up with one another. So I have been getting all my information from my coach."
Golden Gate (1-1) travels next week to face Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep.
