Swoyer one to watch in 09

While most prospects ultimately choose to stay in their own region for their college years, some would prefer to get away from home. Offensive guard Tyler Swoyer is one to watch in the junior class and the Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania lineman is looking south.
Swoyer recently reported that while he is not opposed to the idea of staying close to home, he would prefer to move to a warmer area down south.

"I'll be looking at the level of football first of all," he said. "Other than that it doesn't really matter if it's in-state or out-of-state. I would prefer to go down south somewhere, where it's warm."
Swoyer said he is now at 6-foot-2, 298-pounds. While he is not the most agile prospect, he has good upper and lower body strength.
Things haven't heated up much yet, but Swoyer has taken the initiative in setting a couple of trips up.
"I'm going up to Pitt in a couple of weeks for a basketball game and they're really interested in me," he said. "I went to Syracuse for a game, but we were just at the Carrier Dome.
"Other than that I'm just getting a lot of miscellaneous mail from schools like North Carolina, Duke, Illinois and Wisconsin. Illinois has been sending me mail just about every week."
