Switzer favors Big Ten school

Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North offensive lineman Mike Switzer has been a varsity starter since his sophomore year.
The talented and versatile Switzer, at 6-foot-5 and 275-pounds, has major college size. He has gone back and forth between tackle and center, and also does his team's long snapping.

While Switzer has yet to receive his first scholaship offer, he is receiving attention from recruiters.
"I've gone to some junior days," Switzer said. "I went to Indiana, Purdue, and Cincinnati. And I was invited to Louisville, but I couldn't go."
Switzer has also been to a number of spring games.
"I went to Louisville's spring game," he said. "And I went to IU and Purdue's spring games."
The four schools he has visited make up the bulk of Switzer's list.
"I like IU, Purdue, Cincinnati, Louisville, and Northern Illinois," Switzer said. "Everyone else just sends a few letters, so those are probably the ones I like best."
But one school stands out.
"Indiana is probably my favorite," Switzer said. "I really like the coaching staff. I like my position coach. And I think they are going to start doing well."
Switzer said he plans to go to camps this summer at Indiana, Purdue, Louisville, and Cincinnati.
