Position: Running back
Size and Speed: Sutton is 5-foot-10 and 180-pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds.
Statistics: Sutton carried the ball 260 times as a junior, rushing for 2,038 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Honors: As a junior, Sutton was named first-team All-State and district most valuable player.
Favorite Schools: While Sutton is awaiting his first scholarship offer, he is receiving heavy interest from Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Arkansas and LSU.
Skinny: Sutton's coach Barry Norton has watched his talented running back perform on the high school football field. He also believes that his talent can carry over to the college level.
"Running back is the position for him," Norton said. "He's gotten it done here. He wants to play that position and he's good at it. Schools are recruiting him for running back so I have no doubt that is where they will play him."
Despite no scholarship offers, the schools continue to show great interest in the powerful running back.
"We've sent film to Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Arkansas and LSU already," Norton said. "LSU called again today and requested more film be sent. They wanted to see more of him in action."
Despite Sutton's listed height of 5-foot-10, Norton believes he is a little shorter.
"He's 5-foot-8 and 180-pounds. But he has power. He has good power ability, especially when he is running with the ball. Someone is going to get a real steal when they land him next Feburary."
