Surprising Offers For Adibi
Some recruiting fans might be surprised at how many offers Hampton (Va.) Phoebus defensive end Xavier Adibi has at this point.
“I only have two offers right now – Virginia Tech and Maryland,” said the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder who is considered to be one of the top players in Virginia this year. “I think a few other schools will offer soon, but I’m not sure.”

Virginia Tech and Tennessee have been to his school so far with many others on the way. Right now, Adibi favors three.
“I like Virginia Tech, Virginia and Maryland,” he said. “Virginia Tech is still my favorite because my brother is there. He likes it a lot there and should be starting next season. I like UVA a lot too, but they haven’t offered me yet.”
Not even a verbal offer?
“Nope,” he said. “Not yet.”
Adibi is also interested in Miami, Tennessee, Florida and Florida State but is focusing his attention on his three top choices.
“After this month I’ll probably expand it a little bit.”
