Surprise leader for Pressley

It's fairly common that the top players in North Carolina consider the in-state schools and traditional powerhouses like Florida State to be the teams to beat. But this year the nation's top defensive tackle is throwing a curveball, listing an up-and-coming Big 12 team near the top of his list.
Defensive tackle DeMario Pressley of Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley took an official visit to Oklahoma State this weekend and liked what he saw.

"I was really impressed, and it made me realize it was worth it to go out there," said Pressley. "The campus, the academics, the coaches ... it was all great. I'd rate the visit right up there with my other trips (NC State, Virginia, UNC)."
So did the Cowboys show him enough to take the lead?
"That's tough to say right now," he said. "I've said I'm going to stay pretty open while I'm taking these trips, but I'll just say that Oklahoma State is in a good position now. That doesn't mean they're ahead of the others, just that the visit couldn't have been too much better."
The 6-foot-4, 285-pound lineman is planning on visiting Florida State, another major contender for his services, this weekend.
"That's going to be an important visit, with it being my last," he said. "I won't make my decision until February 4th, but I might have my mind made up before then."
