Superstar has 22 written offers

Whitney Lewis (6-1, 215, 4.35) from Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure has been the rage of the local southern California combines and with many D-I schools. Pac10Recruiting was able to catch up with St. Bonnie head coach John Mack and he told us that Lewis has 22 written offers and it isn’t even May 1st! Lewis has a top six. The list includes Miami, FSU, Texas, Colorado, USC and LSU. It bears repeating when a player that has as many options as Lewis does this list could change at a moments notice.
Lewis who will play mostly running back this season as a senior, played wide receiver as a junior because the starting RB was Lorenzo Booker (FSU). Whitney made quite a name for himself as a wide receiver, catching 47 passes for 901 yards, while averaging 19.2 yards per catch and scored 11 TDs. Lewis was selected all-CIF, all-league, all-county and all-area.
