Junior to Watch: Donte Whitner

Position: Cornerback
Size and speed: Whitner is 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds. He has been timed at 4.3 in the 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Whitner made 87 tackles and picked off three passes during his junior season. He also broke up 19 passes. Whitner has a 3.7 GPA.
Honors: All-Conference and 2nd Team All-Ohio
Favorite Schools: Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee, and a few others.
Skinny: Whitner will be one of the country's top cornerback prospects. He has blazing speed (10.4 100 meters) and makes plays.
"I'll be going to Michigan State on Friday morning," Whitner said. "I'm going with (teammates) Dareus Hiley and Michael Hearns."
"We're going to visit Michigan State, then stay overnight for the Nike Camp there on Saturday."
"We might stop at Ohio State on Thursday before we go to Michigan State. Or we might stop there after the Nike camp."
"I'm still looking at Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan, those schools. And USC and Michigan State. And there's some others too."
Whitner has been offered by most of the schools he mentioned as well as many others.
