Alan Abrams came away pleasantly
surprised after taking an official visit to Ole Miss this weekend.
"Going in there, I didn't realize what their depth chart
really looked like," he said. "But they showed me how it looks for the next
couple of years, and it seems like they really could use a running back right
away.
"Other than that, I just came away impressed with the
school and the people down there. My host was Mario Hill. He was cool. We had a
good time hanging out, going to see the campus and a bunch of stuff around town.
I definitely have Ole Miss on my mind right now."
South Carolina is thought to be the leader for Abrams,
although he says he's still "open" at this point. Purdue is also in the mix.
Abrams (5-11, 186, 4.49) is a member of the Rivals.com
Florida Top 100 team and the No.
20 running back in the nation. He rushed for more than 1,600 yards and 20
touchdowns as a senior.
