Sun Devils Score Huge
Long Beach (Calif.) Poly three star linebacker Mark Washington (6-3, 240, 4.5) has made Sun Devils fans everywhere happy with his commitment this evening. The Arizona State gets a player whose best football is ahead of him.
“I wanted to call you first to let you know that I committed to ASU,” Washington said. “I chose the Sun Devils because the opportunities are there.”

“The Sun Devils have a young coaching staff that I can relate to,” Washington said. “I really like the coaching staff and I feel the program is going in the right direction.”
The Sun Devils get a terrific player in Washington. He will help ASU both on and off the field. Washington has leadership qualities and is a total team first type of guy.
Washington was selected 1st-team all-CIF and 1st-team all-league. He is also a member the prestigious Long Beach Telegram’s Dream Team.
Washington collected 117 tackles, seven sacks, four pass break ups, four caused fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
