Summers shapes favorite list

There is no doubt that the options have been plentiful for 6-foot-3, 190-pound wide receiver Markeith Summers who alongside his brother, Anthony Summers are one of the nation's top player duos.
LSU, Oklahoma, Auburn, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Mississippi State, and Tennessee are just a few of the schools that have sent offers to the Summers' household for one of the talented young men. Summers also stated that Alabama and Florida have joined the mix. Even with all the offers, a top four is starting to take shape.

"Right now, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma would be the four," Summers said. "I just like Florida and Ole Miss quite a bit with their offenses and Oklahoma has great tradition."
When it comes down to it, the offensive philosophy will be huge for a wide receiver like Summers that wants the ball in his hands.
"Really, I'm looking at how they use the ball," Summers said. "If they throw a lot I want to be there, if not then it's probably not the best place for me."
"It's all about catching the ball and getting those yards after the catch to be effective."
Summers is also a member of the latest release of the Rivals250 and was surprised to hear of his inclusion in the list.
"I didn't even know it, but it's a great honor to be there," Summers said. "I've worked hard so I guess that shows the kind of work I've been putting in."
Oklahoma is a school that he has been speaking with coaches about visiting during the fall unofficially.
"I'll probably wait until I get all my trips set and then make my decision," Summers said. "Other than that, I want to win the state championship. That's all I want to do because that's what you play for year after year."
