Summer visits coming for NCs Maddox

With seven offers in-hand, Shelby (N.C.) Crest Senior linebacker Dwayne Maddox is in the process of scheduling summer visits. Where is the 6-foot-1, 222-pounder planning on going?
"I've got offers from UNC, NC State, South Carolina, Alabama, Clemson, Marshall and East Carolina," he said. "A bunch of other colleges are talking to me including Michigan, UCLA, Maryland, Notre Dame and Florida. They all are talking about getting me down to their school to take a visit."

Maddox plans to visit a few of the schools that haven't yet offered.
"I've got a whole summer full of visits planned," he said. "I'm looking at going to Michigan, Florida, Virginia Tech and Notre Dame. I'm going to try to start with Virginia Tech right after I get out of school on Friday."
Currently the Carolina prospect claims three schools are leading.
"The school recruiting me the hardest of everybody is NC State," he said. "That gets my attention, but also the fact that they are the only one talking about early playing time.
"I like Clemson and North Carolina a lot too. I like the way Clemson plays their linebackers and the feeling at Death Valley. I like the tradition at North Carolina and their linebackers too."
With offers from his three favorites already, is Maddox any closer to a decision?
"I'm probably going to make my decision in August, right before the season starts."
