Summer Changes Little For Summers

Lexington, S.C. running back Demetris Summers was leaning towards one school the last time we checked in with him. What's the latest?
"I still like USC the best," said the 6-foot-1, 200-pound five-star stud. "They're close to home, they have good academics, the coaches are great people and Coach Holtz has them headed for a national title."

And what about mom's preference, something we alluded to last time?
"That doesn't hurt," he laughed. "She likes them a lot and she's the boss."
However, other schools are attracting Summers' interest as well.
"I'm looking at Clemson -- I like them as well and they're in state. I also like Miami, Florida State and Tennessee. They're all great teams and they like to run the ball. I couldn't go wrong with any of them."
So when will he decide?
"I'll need at least three visits I think," he said. "I'm also waiting to see who else offers before I set my trips. Right now I know I'll probably visit USC, Clemson and Tennessee but beyond that I don't know."
