Sullivan keeps open mind

Donaldsonville (La.) Rivals250 wide receiver Stephen Sullivan picked up an LSU offer early in the recruiting process and in the spring of his sophomore year he decided to commit to Les Miles and the Tigers' coaching staff.
In August though, Sullivan felt he had to make the hard choice to re-open his recruiting process.

"It was a tough decision. I'd been thinking about it since May to be honest with you," Sullivan said. "I talked with a few people who are close to me who know what's good for me and they just told me to make sure I'm making the right decision and make sure I'm making the decision that is for me. So I decommitted just to make sure I'm making the right decision and making sure I'm going to the right school that fits me."
The Tigers are still one of his top college choices, and he plans to take a few unofficial visits to LSU.
In addition to LSU, Sullivan has also shown considerable interest in TCU. He has ties to Texas, since he spent years growing up in Irving, Texas, and he has visited the TCU campus a few times over the course of the recruiting process.
"TCU is great every time I go up there," Sullivan said. "Every time I go up there everyone is excited to see me. I feel like I'm at home every time I go up there. Me and coach Meach, me and coach Fuller, me and coach Burns have a great relationship. It's just great every time I go up there. They treat me like family everywhere I go."
Sullivan has also recently added offers from Florida State and Tennessee, and both programs have caught his attention.
"I've always liked Florida State eventhough they weren't even interested in me. I always liked watching Kelvin Benjamin play," Sullivan said. "And I like Tennessee. Yeah, those are two schools I like that I just got offers from."
Right now he is keeping an open mind to the recruiting process ,and he is looking at all of his options. He currently does not have any official visits planned.
