Sullivan having busy summer

Ed Sullivan is a good quarterback prospect from the Sunshine State. Sullivan, 6-1 and 195 pounds, is a dual-threat quarterback with a bunch of scholarship offers. Last season he threw for 2,400 yards (61% completion percentage) and rushed for over 500 yards.
"I have nine offers so far," Sullivan said. "Some schools that have offered are Kansas State, Wake Forest, Southern Miss, Iowa State, Memphis, Toledo, Ohio, and Florida International. I am being recruited from schools like Rutgers, Ohio State and N.C. State. Some of these schools have said I will know whether they are going to offer me or not in about a week. Then there are schools like Western Michigan and Tennessee that have given me a verbal offer."

Another school of interest for Sullivan is Mississippi State. He met Dan Mullen a few years ago while camping at Florida. Sullivan will camp at Mississippi State in July. He hopes that will help him earn a scholarship offer from the Bulldogs.
"Yea, that's big for me. It will be a one day camp and I am really looking forward to it."
Also in July Sullivan will make unofficial visits to Southern Miss and Wake Forest.
On the coaching front, there's a new head man at Boca Raton High School. It's Keith Byers, the former NFL and Ohio State star. Coach Byers has really helped Sullivan with the entire recruiting process.
"He just keeps telling me there's a long way to go and so many different things could happen. You know he committed to play at Ohio State early in the process but said he got offers late from schools like Oklahoma. So he has given me some good advice and I am trying to just be patient. He's been a major help."
Sullivan has had a busy month of June, camping at Miami, FIU, Ohio State, NC State, and North Carolina.
