At a school press conference moments ago, Portland (Ore.) Grant defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh announced his commitment to Nebraska.
"I'm both happy and sad this process is over but I think the best fit for me is Nebraska," Suh said moments ago. "I got that special feeling on my trip to Nebraska and it never left. They have a great class coming in, I think their future is great and I love their tradition.
"I talked to some of the other players going to Nebraska at the Army game and that helped put them over the top, having friends on the team already. Cal and Miami are also great schools but I liked the small town atmosphere at Nebraska better than the big city feel of those two schools.
"I loved Oregon State too, all my schools I visited were great. I like Coach Riley a lot, he's a great guy but in the end, like I said., Nebraska was just the best overall fit for me and I'm excited to be going there. I wanted to commit early to get my decision out of the way. It was stressful at times but I enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to playing right away next year, Nebraska already told me they don't want to red-shirt me and that's fine with me, I want to play as soon as I can."
