Sugar Land (Texas) Austin two-star athlete/dual-threat quarterback Michael Jones was leaning toward Oklahoma State right before the start of the New Year, but as time has passed things have changed drastically this week.
In fact, Jones, who is 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, has shifted his focus now toward Colorado and Arizona State.
“I’ve always been a Colorado fan and they’re now starting to recruit me a lot heavier,” he said. “I’ve not set up a visit there yet, but I’ll probably go take a visit there. And then there is Arizona State. I really liked it out there on my visit (December 12). I had a blast, and the weather was great. It was always the best campus that I’ve ever seen.

“The stadium was also incredible. I was blown away by that visit.”
Jones said he’s now no longer looking at OSU as heavily as he was before.
“I’m kind of backing away from them,” he said.
Jones said he’s not set up any other visits at this point, and he’s not sure when he’s going to make his final decision.
