Stuhr looking at options

Franklin, Wis., wide receiver Geoff Stuhr was a varsity starter his sophomore year and began to establish himself as a possible major college prospect.
The 5-foot-10 and 170-pound Stuhr was off to a great start his junior season before sustaining a broken femur in his left leg. Through six games Stuhr had caught 32 passes for 478 yards and six touchdowns before he went down with the injury.

The injury has dampened the recruiting proccss a bit for Stuhr, though he says everything is going well so far with his recovery.
"I'm getting some mail from colleges," Stuhr said. "But before I broke my leg I was getting a lot. It's dropped off some."
When asked which schools he is still receiving mail from, Stuhr said, "Yale, Brown and Southern Illinois."
But Stuhr leaves no doubt where he would like to go if the opportunity comes.
"My No. 1 choice is Madison," he said. "I've always been a Badger fan. And it's close to home. I'll probably walk-on there. But if a (scholarship) offer comes from someone else, I'd take it."
Especially if an offer came from Northern Illinois.
"I like Northern Illinois too," Stuhr said. "(Northern Illinois) and Wisconsin would be the two."
