Stud 2016 DT Gary talks RU visit, newest offer

One of the top players in the 2016 class was on hand at Rutgers to check out the first school to offer him. Defensive tackle Rashan Gary, from Scotch Plains (N.J.) Scotch Plains-Fanwood, has become a well-known commodity and a top priority for all of the schools to offer him.
"Rutgers was good," said the 6-foot-4, 278-pound Gary. "Watching practice was fun. There was a lot of intensity. I watched the defensive line and saw what they do. Hopefully I can bring some of what they do back to my school to make my team better.

"That was the first school to offer back in middle school," he said. "I wanted to show them some love by visiting and seeing where I could fit in."
Last week Gary added another huge offer to his very impressive list.
"I got a Michigan offer last week," Gary said. "They contacted my head coach, he told my mom and I heard from her. I don't know much about them right now but I know I will when I take some unofficial visits next year."
Gary has some games already picked out for visits.
"I'm hopefully going to be able to see how Michigan plays when I go to the game when they play Penn State," he said. "As of right now, I'm hoping to see the Temple and Rutgers game. I'm trying to set up more."
Alabama, Florida, Penn State and Ohio State are just a few of Gary's early offers.
