Stringer visiting Wisconsin soon

With the spring evaluation period fast approaching, three-star outside linebacker Brayden Stringer knows interest could soon pick up. Yet before coaches start to drop by Houston (Texas) Cypress Ranch to see him, there is a very important trip on the to-do list.
The 6-foot-2, 197-pound prospect is all set to visit Wisconsin, a school that has already offered him, this month.

"I really like it," Stringer said last weekend at the Rivals Speed & Skill Challenge. "The coaches are appealing to me, for sure. I'm a Texas kid and haven't really gotten out of Texas before, so I really want to be comfortable around the coaches wherever I end up. I'll be around them for four years and that's going to be my new family.
"Really, when I'm looking at the schools, the coaches are going to be like another dad to me. Wisconsin is a Big Ten school, so that's important. It would be a good fit for me. I really like Wisconsin a lot."
Stringer will also visit Louisiana Tech this month and Fresno State this summer.
The versatile linebacker said schools are talking to him about playing both inside and outside in their formations. It will all depend on his weight, and Stringer believes he can tack on another 25 pounds or so before he arrives on campus in 2016.
Stringer went to Oklahoma State for its junior day and said he really enjoyed the school. He also traveled to Texas Tech, which he said could check in with him at his school this spring. Arizona and Duke have also been in contact with him.
"I want to focus on my final high school season and don't want to stress over colleges, so whenever I get that comfortable feeling with the school I believe I fit in best with, I'll make the call," Stringer said. "If I fell in love with the college, yes, I would commit."
Stringer was unanimously selected as an all-district linebacker last season as a junior, guiding his school to the 6A Division 1 state championship game.
