Streeter talks game, recruiting

MIAMI- There is little doubt that Miami Northwestern wide receiver Tommy Streeter has tremendous upside and he showed plenty of that enormous potential during his team's 42-21 spring jamboree victory against Belle Glade Glades Central. Streeter talked about his showing and gave a quick recruiting update in an interview with Rivals.com following the game.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder caught five passes for 89 yards and had a long touchdown reception.

"Everything went good," he said. "I don't think I had any drops tonight so that was good. They (Glades Central) were having trouble with all of the rub routes with us going across the middle."
On the recruiting front, Streeter has picked up some new offers in recent weeks, but isn't anywhere close to narrowing his list of schools.
"So far, I've just been working on this game than I've been focusing on recruiting," Streeter said. "I've got a couple of new offers. Boston College, South Carolina and Minnesota have offered me."
Streeter hasn't gotten a chance to investigate his most recent offers.
"I don't really know too much about those schools, so I can't really say if I am interested in those schools or not," he said.
The Eagles, Gamecocks and Gophers join North Carolina, Ole Miss, Miami (Fla.), Central Florida and Florida International in offering Streeter.
Streeter plans to improve his game this summer.
"I'm planning on going to camps and stuff," he said. "I want to get faster. People say that I have good speed now, but I still want to work hard and get faster. I've got invitations to a lot of camps, but I really haven't sat down and decided."
Streeter had 57 catches for more than 800 yards during his junior year, helping Miami Northwestern go undefeated and capture the Florida Class 6A title.
