Stovall looking at more visits

Melquise Stovall has one official visit in the books and the four-star all-purpose back is looking to schedule more.
"I don't have any right now but I'm looking," Stovall said. "There are about eight other schools I want to check out so I'll be putting that out in a week or so.

"I'm still trying to sit down and figure that out right now. The next one should be by the end of this month."
The former USC commit from Lancaster (Calif.) Paraclete would not say which programs he's considering for visits but he's looking to schedule trips soon.
Stovall took his first official visit to Notre Dame for the Texas weekend and it was definitely a worthwhile trip.
The Irish should stay in striking distance as he hits the road.
"They're full of tradition," Stovall said.
"The fans started tailgating around 9 o'clock and the game wasn't until 7:30 so I thought that was pretty cool. They have a great fan base. They played well. They blew Texas out. I like how they spread the ball and gave everybody the ball."
Position will be important when Stovall makes his pick. He could be used sometimes as a straight running back but the four-star prefers to split out in the slot, catch passes and be used all over the field that way.
"They want to use me as an offensive athlete, return man," Stovall said of Notre Dame.
As for another decision, Stovall said he will be patient. Oregon is showing new interest and after a de-commitment, the four-star wants to take his trips and not rush.
"I'm going to take my time," Stovall said. "After I take all the visits I'll know where I'm at."
