Storm hits FSU, gets big offer

Storm Johnson is a running back gaining traction in recruiting. This big back from Loganville (Ga.) High School visited Tallahassee this past weekend and came away impressed with his first visit to FSU.
"I went down to Florida State on Saturday," Johnson said. "It was my first trip down there. I like the coaches and they have nice facilities. I saw a practice and they are a very fired up football team. It was a good atmosphere. I would say the visit was great."

Johnson has some big time scholarship offers. FSU, LSU, Stanford, Tennessee, Auburn, Oklahoma, West Virginia and others have offered. On Friday, he picked up another huge offer.
"Florida offered. I talked with coach (Kenny) Carter and he said they watched my tape and they liked it. They want to sign a bigger back. I also spoke with coach (Urban) Meyer. To get an offer from the National Champions is pretty big for me."
So far Johnson has seen FSU, Auburn and Tennessee. He will be going to LSU this Saturday.
"I am still evaluating all the schools and do not have a favorite. I hope to have it down to five schools sometime this summer."
