Stone looking to get out there

Lindell Stone has been on the scene for a while now. The 2017 quarterback from Texas goes to school at Woodberry Forest (Va.) Woodberry Forest School and earned his first offer at a young age.
"UCLA was my first offer," said the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Stone." It's a great program and they're going upwards. They get a lot of guys on a West coast recruits and from around the country. I'll definitely keep my eye on them.

"Virginia is really involved in my recruitment," he said. "We're kind of a feeder to UVA. There are a lot of guys from my school that go there and we're really involved with the university. Having coach Fairchild and coach London so close to our school is great because they get to keep an eye on us for all four years.
"I think Temple is definitely coming up," said Stone. "They have a good program and had a better year than they had in the past. I think that's really going to help them with the talent and that area."
Stone recently visited one of his top SEC schools.
"My visit to Florida was great," he said. "I got to meet coach Nussmeier and coach McIlwain. I got to hear what they plan to do a Florida and I was really excited about the progress they plan on making. I think they'll do a great job of Florida."
This offseason should be busy for Stone.
"I'll probably try to get a Vanderbilt," said Stone. "They've been trying to get me down there and it's a great program. I'm sure I'll visit a ton of other schools this summer and do some camps. I'm really just wide open right now."
Stone is fully recovered from a broken collarbone, which he sustained early last season.
