Stockton RB has burst

Running back Curtis Shaw (5-11, 190, 4.5) from Stockton (Calif.) Lincoln brings a lot of ability to the table. He is already getting several calls from Pac-10 schools and he could be one of the most watched running backs on the West Coast.
The Lincoln running back earned first-team all-league and first-team all-area as a junior. Shaw also was selected League Offensive Back of the Year after rushing for 1,653 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also caught six passes for 102 yards and he had another score.

"Curtis is a speed guy who runs hard and is pretty elusive," Lincoln coach Jim Rubiales said. "He's also an excellent receiver and he will be used more as a receiver out of the backfield for us this fall."
"Curtis is getting letters from everyone in the Pac-10 except Cal and Stanford," Rubiales said. "Washington, Washington State and Oregon have called asking about Curtis. Oregon just the other day."
"When coaches come by and see him on film they are all going to like him," Rubiales said. "That's the bottom line with college coaches, they have to see him on film and then they will make a decision."
The scouting report on Shaw is he's a natural running back who has great vision and has that burst that all the great ones have.
