Stock Rising for North Kansas City DE

Kansas City (Mo.) North Kansas City defensive end Terrell Corby will use his senior season to solidify his status as a legitimate division one prospect.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Corby posted 85 tackles and five and a half quarterback sacks as a junior. But when asked what he looks forward to as a senior, it is clear he expects to surpass those totals.

“I am working hard to add strength, stay durable and have a big season,” Corby said.
Coach Chad Valadez loves Corby’s motor, work ethic and potential.
“Terrell has the physical tools to do whatever he wants on the football field, but his work ethic is unbelievable,” Valdez said. “In my 11 years here, he is the best I have seen in terms of his work ethic and non-stop motor.”
Corby’s pursuit skills are also a key to his current and future success.
“He led the team in tackles as a defensive end and approximately 70% of those were across the field and in pursuit,” Valadez said.
Corby has already received offers from Kansas, Missouri and Iowa. His current plans include three visits during the month of June, attending one-day visits to Kansas on June 1, Kansas State on June 3 and Missouri on June 13.
When asked what factors will effect his decision when selecting a school, Corby was quick to answer.
“Academics, the programs defensive system and making sure the coaches are going to be there,” Corby said.
Until that decision is made, Terrell Corby will focus on the prospects of another successful season.
Corby earned first team all-district and honorable mention all-conference honors last year.
