If Miami (Fla.) Miami Palmetto running back Jaamal Berry was a stock, now would be a good time to buy. The 5-foot-11 back recently picked up an offer from Auburn which he has added to his quickly growing list that gets more impressive by the day.
"Today I got in Auburn," Berry said on Monday night. "I have FIU, Ole Miss, Florida State, University of Florida, LSU, Minnesota and Clemson is supposed to send me an offer and West Virginia is supposed to send me an offer. I'm also talking to USC and Ohio State. Michigan too."
Berry is getting high praise from the right people, college coaches.

"Auburn likes me," he said. "They've seen my film. They think I should be able to make a good impact my freshman year in college. Coach Carter from Florida said I should make an impact as a freshman and that I'm one of the top one or two backs in the country. I'm a good back with speed."
Berry is open to any school, but there is a conference that has a distinct lead.
"I'm really open to anywhere," he said. "I like the SEC because I feel like that's the best overall conference. The conference is like the speed conference and it's real competitive and it's kind of close to home. It's just right on top of Florida."
Despite his interest in the SEC, Miami has always been his favorite and though the Hurricanes have yet to offer the versatile, speedy back, they have more than just their conference working against them.
"I'm a Miami kid so I guess I liked Miami growing up and the tradition, The U, the family thing. They had a couple good running backs going back. I don't know though. They have a big recruiting class and they've got a lot of running backs coming in."
One school that doesn't have depth chart concerns for Berry is LSU.
"LSU, I don't think they've recruited a running back in the past two years," he said. "That's a factor because I think I could be an impact on the college level."
Of all the offers that have come in for Berry, LSU may also have been the one that stood out the most.
"LSU stood out because they were the national champions so I was like, 'wow'," he said. "Florida was also a big one. They were the number one team just two years ago."
Berry plans on taking his time with his decision and seeing what offers come in, then making his college visits accordingly.
