Stock heating up for Hawaii OL

After watching senior film of Honolulu (Hawaii) St. Louis offensive lineman Esrom Pascual, there is no doubt he's one of the most talented linemen in the West region this year. Pascual transferred prior to the season from Baldwin to St. Louis but the colleges haven't had any problems finding him.
Pascual, 6-0, 305 pounds is an absolute load at the guard position. He fits the stereotype of most of the top linemen who have come from the Islands, mean, tough and very physical. Pascual has great physical strength and his 41 reps at the Nike camp at Stanford were in the top 10 at the event.

On film, the lineman has a non-stop motor and does what we like to call, 'playing through the whistle.' By that, we mean the play may be over, or even run away from where Pascual is blocking, but until that whistle blows, he's going to keep pounding on his man.
On the recruiting front, Pascual is still waiting for his first offer but is hearing from a handful of schools who want to trip him in.
"San Diego State, Northwestern, New Mexico State and Tennessee have all talked about Esrom coming in for a visit," Pascual's mother Irva Thomas said. "Andy Buh at San Diego State was just here and picked up his transcripts. Steve Caldwell at Tennessee is also very interested and wants to get Esrom out there for a visit. New Mexico State is actually recruiting him for defensive tackle right now.
"Esrom is just really happy at St. Louis and it was a great move for him. We know a lot of mail and calls are still going to Baldwin so hopefully it hasn't hurt him. He was named pre-season all-state with St. Louis being his school so hopefully that is not the case and it's exciting for him to have these schools talking to him now."
