Stock heating up for corner

When you put your ear to the ground you can hear the murmuring and continuous hum about a corner from Southern California whose stock appears to be on the rise. Fast, physical corners are always at a premium and the news is beginning to spread within coaching circles about Sheldon Price (6-1, 160, 4.56) from La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat.
There are many schools showing interest in Price including UCLA, Oregon, Colorado, Notre Dame, Ohio State, LSU, San Diego State and Fresno State.

Price attended UCLA's junior day on April 5th.
"UCLA was really nice," Price said. "I had a good time there. I liked their facilities, they are really nice and the coaches seemed really interested in me.
"I'll be going to Colorado's junior day and then I will attend Oregon's junior day," Price said. "I know a little about the coaching staff's at the two schools and the reason that I want to go to their junior days is to get better acquainted with both schools.
Price is a two-sport star who with his Bishop Amat teammates participated in the Arcadia Invitational on Saturday. He placed ninth in the long jump and won the 4x100 relay.
Not only does Price have outstanding, but he runs the 100 in 10.8.
Price isn't sitting on his laurels as he is planning a busy camp schedule. He is planning on attending camps at UCLA, USC, Cal, Oregon and Colorado.
As a junior Price earned first-team all-league and second-team all-area honors as a junior after he accounted for 36 tackles, nine pass deflections, three interceptions and one fumble recovery.
The scouting report on Price is he's a lockdown cover corner who is a very intelligent football player with a high football IQ. He's savvy, plays fast, has outstanding anticipation and is a ball hawk.
Price has long arms and with his 35.8 vertical jump, plays tall.
