Stocco Talks About His Commitment
"They showed a lot of interest in me early," three star quarterback John Stocco said when asked why he committed to Wisconsin.
"And I really like the coaches, coach Alvarez, coach Horton, and coach Hueber. When those three coaches came here I committed."

"And Wisconsin is close, but not too close. And the academics are good."
"Minnesota was my second choice. They offered too."
Stocco, 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, threw for 1500 yards this season for Richfield (Minn.) Holy Angels. He completed 60% of his passes and connected for 12 touchdowns.
