Still one offer for Florida OG

Jacksonville (Fla.) Forrest offensive guard prospect Byran Jones still holds one scholarship offer, from Florida International, but a recent trip to Gainesville and Florida's prospect camp has the three-star prospect hopeful of getting more offers in the near future.
"Things have been going very good," Jones said. "I haven't gotten any new offers yet, but I went to Florida's camp a couple of weeks ago."

He liked what he saw in Gainesville.
"I liked the school a lot," he said. "They would be pretty high on my list if they were to offer me."
The 6-foot-3, 325-pounder said that the Gator coaches told him he was one of several prospects at his position that they were considering.
"They said they needed to look at one other guy and then there were about three or four of us that are under consideration for an offer," he said.
Jones heads to Florida State's camp in a couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, FIU continues to stay in touch through letters and text messages.
"They just check on me," he said. "And see how everything is good and making sure that it's going good during the summer."
South Florida and Central Florida have been in touch as well.
Jones is the nation's No. 44 offensive guard prospect and is the No. 85 overall prospect in the state of Florida according to Rivals.com.
