Stewart to take Utah visit

Jihree Stewart has been committed to Oregon since June but he's taking an official visit to Utah this weekend and his brother, Dres Anderson, is one of the top receivers for the Utes.
That could all play a factor for the three-star defensive back from Corona (Calif.) Centennial but he maintains that his commitment to the Ducks is still exceptionally strong.

"My brother Dres Anderson does attend the University of Utah so I will be going there next week with him," Stewart said.
"He loves it there. It's like home to him. Every time I come there he makes it like home to me."
Utah is definitely pushing for Stewart, who helped lead Corona Centennial past Long Beach (Calif.) Poly last weekend. But the three-star safety is still sticking with Oregon and said there are no doubts that he made the right decision by committing there this summer.
Stewart plans to take his official visit to Oregon in October and he's definitely looking forward to it. A trip to Colorado was also expected but it's undecided whether Stewart will go to Boulder now.
"That will be great," Stewart said of his Oregon trip. "I've already been up there recently so I'll just be going back up there. It will start my new home.
"I would say my commitment is very strong, very strong, firm."
It has been a tremendously difficult start for Corona Centennial as it's faced four of the best teams in the region in Santa Ana Mater Dei, Orange Lutheran, Las Vegas Bishop Gorman and Long Beach Poly so far this season. The Huskies are 2-2 and Stewart said the victory over Poly was a big step forward.
"It was a great win coming off a close loss last week," Stewart said. "It was great we executed in the fourth quarter."
