Stevens lining up more visits

Things are heating up a bit for Hemet (Calif.) two way lineman Hamani Stevens. The talented athlete took in his first college game of the season last weekend, set up his second official visit and is close to setting two more trips as well.
Stevens, 6-3, 290 pounds is one of the premier lineman in the West region on both sides of the ball. He's getting looks as a center/guard on the offensive line and is also a talented defensive tackle and could easily play on either side of the line in college. Stevens has said in the past he prefers the offensive line and we think he has a very upside as a college center.

Stevens made a lot of noise earlier in the year when he gave a commitment to UCLA and then opened up his recruitment just a week later. The lineman still has a high interest in the Bruins but will take his official visits before committing anywhere a second time.
"I'm still very interested in UCLA and was just at their home opener against BYU last weekend," Stevens said. "I had a great time there and really like the program a lot. The team is so together and everyone seems like a big family. The atmosphere at the Rose Bowl was great too, the fans were crazy and I really enjoyed being there.
"I'm taking my trips though and I just set up my second visit to Oregon for (Nov. 30). I had already set up a visit to BYU for (Jan. 11) and I'm in the process of setting visits to Colorado and Washington. Those two visits will be after the season as well. I just don't have time during the season and hopefully we'll make the playoffs so all my trips will likely be in December and January.
"I don't know where I'll take a 5th trip to. If I visit UCLA, it will likely just be an unofficial since I live so close to the campus. I'm enjoying the process right now and everything is good. I'm just going to take my time with everything, go through the process and then pick the best place for me."
