Stevens likes Kansas State

Charlotte (N.C.) Davidson Day cornerback Michael Stevens continues to add new offers, but one school is holding his top spot for now.
"I like Kansas State," Stevens said. "I can't wait to visit next month. If that goes well then I'm going to have a lot to think about it."

Stevens said he's in regular contact with the Wildcats wide receiver coach Andre Coleman, his primary recruiter.
"I just talked to him yesterday," Stevens said. "He told me that I'm their guy and he tells me how much he likes my athletic ability. I can tell that they want me."
Stevens said the other schools that are talking to him the most right now include East Carolina and N.C. State. The Wolfpack have yet to offer but Stevens is hopeful that he's on their board.
"I talk to them a lot even though they haven't offered," he said. "I camped there and I love the coaching staff and how they're young and excited. I hope they offer soon."
Next up for Stevens is a round of visits and a couple of camps before he shifts his focus to his senior season.
"I've got Kansas State next month then I'm going to visit North Carolina on the 19th of July," Stevens said. "I might get back to N.C. State again and I'm going to camp at Georgia Tech."
Stevens said he's looking forward to learning more about the Yellow Jackets.
"I haven't visited yet so I don't know a lot about them," he said. "But they came by and visited me during the spring and the coach seemed really cool so hopefully I can do well down there at their camp."
With his season right around the corner, Stevens said hopefully he can begin to cut down his list soon.
"I definitely want to make my decision before the season starts," he said. "It will probably be late August. I just want to be able to focus on my senior year."
