Stepoli lands a new offer

A new offer has come in for Huntersville (N.C.) North Mecklenburg offensive tackle Josh Stepoli. The 6-foot-7, 275-pounder plans to head to his latest offer this week and discussed the latest with his recruitment.
"I actually got another offer from East Carolina to join Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Indiana, Temple and Marshall," he said. "They offered about a week or two ago.

"I think I might take a visit down there when they play North Carolina on October 1st. My coach and I are going to go down to see how it is."
Meanwhile, is Stepoli setting officials?
"I'm supposed to plan all of my officials after my season, I don't want it to get involved with school and football."
East Carolina jumped into the mix just after a move to the Tar Heel State and one other school is taking a look now.
"North Carolina is interested," he said. "They called my coaches and asked about how I'm doing with my grades and they are going to get in contact with me soon."
It's been a tough season for North Mecklenburg to date, though Stepoli is performing well.
"I've been doing good," he said. "Last week I had 16 tackles and four for loss. I've been blocking well and getting pancakes every game.
"I think I've improved on my strength this year. I improved my technique too."
