Stephenson targeting a summer decision

Delon Stephenson has had an offer from Rutgers for a while now and a couple of other schools are expressing some interest.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound athlete from New Jersey doesn't seem to be in any kind of a hurry, though.

Stephenson won't be visiting any schools in the near future and it's been a while since he has been on the road.
The last trip the Parlin (N.J.) Sayreville War Memorial athlete took was to Rutgers but that was a few months ago.
"I went up for the day to Rutgers back in December or January," he recalled. "They've offered me. I really like them a lot. I was supposed to call someone from Rutgers last week but I forgot."
Stephenson said he has been receiving mail from Penn State, Michigan State and UConn, but he hasn't had contact with any coaches from those schools yet.
With interest in Rutgers plus an offer from the school, is there a chance he could decide soon?
"I'll probably make my decision on my birthday, June 27," Stephenson said.
Stephenson said he probably won't attend any summer camps.
Last fall he carried the ball 118 times for 1,009 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also hauled in 24 receptions for 379 yards and eight scores. Defensively he registered 39 tackles and picked off five passes.
