Stellar juco DT to trip Arizona

Rivals.com first saw defensive tackle Tolifili Liufau (6-3, 310, 4.9) from Fresno (Calif.) City College when he was senior in high school at Honolulu (Hawai'i) St. Louis. He was impressive then and he turned into one of the junior college level's best defensive tackle prospects.
Liufau recently committed to Oregon but there is a discrepancy regarding a class and was denied.

Oregon's loss may be Arizona's gain.
"I am planning on visiting Arizona this weekend and committing to them on my trip," Liafau said. "I talked to Coach (Mike) Stoops and he said he needs a three technique."
"I am hoping with Arizona's good staff that they will help me improve," Liafau said. "Right now I am just concentrating on my classes so I can get my AA degree on time."
Liafau has been playing rugby with the Fresno City Club team and by playing that sport he has seen his overall speed improve.
Liafau has already visited Oregon State and the Beavers ran out of scholarships. Missouri where he would love to play but it is too far from Hawai'i where he would to visit once and awhile to see his family and of course Oregon where he was once committed.
Hawai'i also offered but Liafau wants to play away from home so he can concentrate on his school work and football.
"I want to keep focused on what I have to do," Liafau said. "I may get distracted at home and I don't want that to happen."
Arizona is on the cusp of landing one heck of a defensive tackle.
