Steffy sets three officials

Quarterback Jordan Steffy is one of the Keystone state's top passers. He's laid the foundation for another solid season, and he has three leaders.
"We're 2-0 right now," said Steffy. "So I'm happy with the way we're playing. The first game I passed for about 200 yards and ran for like 100. In our most recent game they put a bunch of guys back and wouldn't let us pass. So we ran a lot, and that was enough to get the win. We've got a pretty big game coming up this week, and I'm already pumped for it."

Steffy has three leaders at this point, and has official visits scheduled to each school as well.
"Maryland, Michigan State and Virginia Tech are my top three," he said. "I'm visiting Maryland on Oct. 3rd, Virginia Tech on Oct. 10th and Michigan State on Oct. 31st. I might schedule visits to two other schools, but I'm not sure about that just yet. Those three schools are about even and they've offered."
At 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, Steffy runs the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds. He's got good acceleration and isn't afraid to tuck the ball and run if his receivers are covered downfield. But he's not one dimensional, and has proven that. Steffy has a strong, accurate arm and is becoming more polished as a quarterback.
"I'm not sure when I'll make a decision," said Steffy. "That's down the road. I won't be done with official visits until at least early November, and right now I'm just focusing on school and my team. I really don't feel like I'm in too much of a hurry."
In 10 games as a junior, Steffy completed 64-percent of his passes for 2,178 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also rushed for 400 yards and 12 touchdowns.
