Steffy impressed by Tigers performance

Many people feel Clemson has the best football environment on gameday in the ACC. Quarterback Jordan Steffy was there to experience it first hand on Saturday, and saw the Tigers' biggest win in years.
"I had a really good time down there," said Steffy. "The crowd was great, the fans were really into it and they played incredible. I really like how they seemed to have a great gameplan going into the game and stuck to it. They looked like the better coached team. I also like how they used their quarterback."

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound dual-threat quarterback from Leola (Pa.) Conestoga Valley runs the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds and brings that extra dimension to a game with his running ability. How highly would he place the Tigers on his list?
"They're definitely right up there with the top schools," he said. "That was an experience I'm not going to forget any time soon. Virginia Tech, Maryland and Michigan State are up there too, because I really like their coaches and how they use their quarterbacks."
When does Steffy want to make his decision?
"It's probably going to be sometime in early to mid-December," he said. "December 11th is the date I've been telling people, so I'll try to stick to that. I'm taking an official visit to Virginia Tech on Nov. 21st and Maryland on Dec. 5th, so by that time I'll be done with visits. I should be able to make an announcement then, unless something really changes."
Steffy led Conestoga Valley to an 8-2 mark this year, completing 63-percent of his passes for 1,800 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also rushed for 500 yards and seven scores on the year.
