Newnan, Ga., receiver Durrell Steagall is one of the biggest sleepers in the state of Georgia and at this point, he’s just starting to wake up to the college coaches.
“I took an official visit to UT- Chattanooga back in October, and Southern Miss wants me to come down there for a visit,” the 6-foot-1, 185-pound two-star receiver said. “I was supposed to go to Southern Miss last weekend, but we were still in the state playoffs. We lost, so I guess that means I’ll re-work it now for some time in January.”
However, UT- Chattanooga looks like it’s moved to No. 1 on his list.
“They’ve offered me and Southern Miss hasn’t yet,” he said. “You could say that I’m leaning toward UTC. It’s a good school, and I could play early there.”
