Not much has changed since the last time we spoke to Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame athlete Cary Harris. The talented two way standout still maintains a solid top five list but has yet to set up any of his official visits.
“I’m close to setting my trips, I know where I’m going but just need to talk things over with my dad first,” Harris said. “I’m going to set visits to Notre Dame, Washington State and Cal and will work out dates in the next few weeks. Those three along with USC and UCLA are my top five right now.”
Harris’ father played for USC and the Trojans were the talented athletes childhood favorite. There has even been talk that Harris is a silent commit for USC right now but Harris said he’s waiting to pull the trigger.
“I need to take my trips before I commit anywhere,” Harris said. “I haven’t really seen anything other than USC and UCLA so I want to make sure the school I pick is the right one for me. I don’t know if I’ll need to take all five but I at least want to take three or four. That way, I’ll have something to compare all the school to. USC is probably my leader but I’m not closing the door to anyone right now.”
