Star West Coast QB to visit the Big Ten

Mission Viejo, Calif., standout Mark Sanchez , a 6-foot-4 and 210 pounder, is one of the top quarterback prospects west of the Mississippi. Sanchez completed 75% of his passes for 2400 yards during his junior season. He connected for 29 touchdowns with seven interceptions.
Sanchez has scholarship offers from schools all over the country and is set to visit one of those schools that has extended an early offer.

"We're going to trip out to Ohio State next Wednesday," Sanchez said. "My dad and I are going."
"I'm mainly looking at Ohio State, Nebraska, USC, Texas, and Florida. That should be about it. All of them have offered. All of them sent offer letters."
"I don't know who my favorite is. I'll take a few trips this summer and see. Besides Ohio State, I might visit Nebraska, or possibly Texas or Florida."
"Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State, Michigan, Alabama, Duke, Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, LSU, those are some other schools that offered."
Sanchez is a teammate of Ohio State commitment, defensive end Ryan Williams.
"Ryan committing to Ohio State was a big deal at our school," Sanchez said. "Ohio State was out here at one of our practices. And they sent letters. I called them up and talked to coach Tressel. And he called me in May. We had some good discussions."
"We'll see next week how I like it out there. I'm sure I will. It should be a great trip."
