Star Indiana junior has two early favorites

Ft. Wayne (Ind.) Snider defensive back Artis Chambers is one of the top junior prospects in the Hoosier state.
The 6-foot-1 and 200-pound Chambers made 65 tackles and intercepted eight passes from his safety spot during his sophomore year. He has one interception through the first couple of games of his junior season.
Chambers also runs track and starts on the Snider basketball team. He has a 3.0 GPA.

Recruiters are already taking notice.
"I get mail from Purdue, Michigan State, Ohio State, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Indiana is another one," Chambers said. "I went to the Pitt-Notre Dame game. I think I'll go to a game at Notre Dame, and a Purdue game.
"I like Ohio State and Purdue. I went to a Purdue game last year. The campus is nice.
"Our quarterback's coach, Doug Dinan went to Ohio State. I like the way the play football. I'm going to their camp next summer."
Chambers said he does not have any scholarship offers at this early stage. However expect that to change a bit down the road.
