Star DE talks about dream school

Chicago (Ill.) Simeon defensive end Martez Wilson attended the NIKE Football Training Camp at Ohio State May 5. Wilson was happy with his performance at OSU and was impressed with what he saw at Ohio State.
"It was good," Wilson said when asked about the NIKE Camp. "I was at wide receiver. All the coaches know I can play defense, so I wanted to show my speed."

Before the camp started in the afternoon, Wilson got a morning tour of Ohio State.
"I had a tour of campus right before the camp," Wilson said. "(Ohio State assistant) Doc Tressel took me around. It was nice. I liked it. The stadium is huge. It was really nice.
"After the camp Doc Tressel sent me a text message. Then I called them. That's when they said I had an offer."
The scholarship offer from Ohio State certainly wasn't Wilson's first offer.
"I have 19 offers right now," Wilson said. "I'll wait till the end of June to narrow it down."
Wilson has some other trips in mind.
"I visited Notre Dame, Ohio State, Northern Illinois, and Illinois," he said. "I want to go visit Wisconsin and Michigan. I want to visit Iowa.
"I've talked to every school that has offered. They all either called me or sent a text message and I called them."
However a school that has not offered also could eventually be very much in the mix.
"My dream school was Miami," Wilson said. "But now that I've seen the recruiting process, everyone is my favorite. Miami hasn't offered, but I hope they do."
The 6-foot-4 and 228-pound Wilson made 99 tackles including 18 sacks during his junior season. Wilson also intercepted two passes and broke-up seven others. He was an all-conference and all-city selection.
