Star DB Has New Plan
Riviera Beach (Fla.) Suncoast cornerback Devin Hester has changed his mind.
“I thought I wanted to play for Miami or Florida State, but now I’m looking for places where I can play right away as a wideout,” said the 5-foot-11, 180-pounder. “I’m still going to visit those two, but places like NC State, Purdue and Virginia are on top now.”

The two leaders are NC State and Purdue because Hester visited both schools over the last two weekends.
“Purdue was nice, but a little bit cold,” he said. “It was about 40 degrees and windy up there, but I know I could play right away and do well. NC State is the same way.”
Hester goes to Virginia on Dec. 7 and will visit Miami (Jan. 11) and Florida State (Jan. 18) before he decides.
