Stanzi narrows field to three
Mentor (Ohio) Lake Catholic three star quarterback Rick Stanzi has made two official visits. He will likely take one more, then select his college.
"I've been to Miami of Ohio and Iowa," Stanzi said. "Purdue is next Jan. 14. I've narrowed it down to those three now."

However the visit to Purdue, while likely, is not a certainty.
"I'm not sure about that," Stanzi said. "I'm still talking things over with my parents."
When asked who his leader is, Stanzi said, "I'm trying to keep things even, weigh things out."
Stanzi commented on each of his finalists.
"I like the Miami coaches. The campus is nice.
"And basically it's the same with Iowa.
"I visited Purdue this summer. It's a nice place. I like coach Bennett, the quarterback coach."
The 6-foot-3 and 193 pound Stanzi passes for 2170 yards and 21 touchdowns as Lake Catholic finished the season 10-2. Stanzi also rushed for 10 touchdowns.
