Stanton has productive week

Johnny Stanton stopped at camps across the country and came away with four new offers in the last week.
It's been a productive time for the Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic dual-threat quarterback as he's added offers from Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State and Utah.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound three-star prospect also camped at UCLA but hasn't picked up an offer from the Bruins yet.
"I don't really feel like I did anything different than I do in practice," Stanton said. "That's a pretty cool part about it because that's how I throw now. The coaches were very happy with the way I was throwing.
"I don't think I'm looking to get any other offers. I only need one school to offer me if that's the right school. I have 10 offers right now and I'm just trying to figure out which school is the best fit for me.
"I'm going to try to focus on the schools I have right now and see where I stand with them."
Stanton, rated as the No. 14 dual-threat quarterback in the 2013 class and No. 44 in the California state rankings by Rivals.com, now has offers from Air Force, Cal, Navy, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, Utah, Utah State and Washington and others are showing interest.
A decision could be close but Stanton said he's not going to rush anything.
"I'm not necessarily trying to get a decision made as soon as possible," Stanton said. "I think it's sooner rather than later but I'm not exactly sure when it's going to happen. It could happen at any time."
In his junior season, Stanton threw for 2,439 yards with 13 touchdowns and rushed for 1,428 yards and 21 scores.
